Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately known as "Yorkies," offer big personalities in a small package. Though members of the Toy Group, they are terriers by nature and are brave, determined, investigative and energetic. The Yorkshire Terrier is one of the worlds smallest dog that possesses a huge personality .The well bred Yorkie should be spirited and spunky, brave, loyal, clever and forever entertaining.
 
Here at Hartlan Yorkies we take great pride in being a responsible breeder/exhibitor of the AKC Yorkshire Terrier. We have very high standards and do not take our responsibility as a breeder lightly. The health of our dogs and of the Yorkshire Terrier breed is extremely important to us. As a responsible breeder we are very dedicated to the betterment of this prestigious breed by adhering to the AKC Yorkshire Terrier "Toy Group" breed standard, breeding for superior health, structure, coat, temperament and beauty.
 
Our Yorkie puppies have elegant sound bodies, petite muzzles, silk coats and expressive eyes. We do not breed for tiny or so called  teacup Yorkies. Our Yorkies average weight is four to seven pounds at maturity.
                       
We occasionally have Yorkie puppies for sale to approved homes. We welcome your puppy inquiries and invite you to call or email  for information regarding the availability of pups.  Our Yorkie puppies, when available are placed at 12-16 weeks of age.  Our puppies are sold on spay/neuter contract, one year genetic health guarantee and limited AKC registration only.
